Hey Peeps! Diwali is around the corner and the wedding season will follow soon after. My best friend is getting married this year and I am super excited about it.
I got this news in the month of June and since then I have been exploring designer lehenga for my bestie’s wedding.
We have had a string of festivals lately. I wore the off-white lehnga by Jay and Binita boutique for Dussehra and probably I will style the same outfit in a different way for one of the wedding function.
The second outfit is going to be again by Jay and Binita, which I wanted to showcase beforehand. That is going to be this gorgeous cape crop top and lehnga skirt designed by the fabulous duo.
Designer Lehenga Customisation by Jay and Binita
I love the bespoke outfits according to my preference and body type. As far as I remember, I was trying the rust colour for the first time. I love this colour, however, somehow I could not get the perfect outfit in this shade.
The moment they suggested me something exclusive in rust colour I took to the idea of getting a customised outfit for the festive season and beyond.
If you know me, I don’t wear ethnic outfits as daily wear or on even semi-formal outings. But, I love to wear them during festivities or any traditional occasion. I have always sort of regretted buying a lehnga – be it my sister’s wedding or even mine. I could never re-use them.
If you think it’s because I cannot repeat them, then you are wrong. I can style an outfit in multiple ways. So, I don’t bother about that.
I could not wear those lehngas because they are so heavy and while wearing those I freely be a part of the gaiety.
My preference is always quick, easy and lightweight outfits without losing the glam of the occasion.
Zardosi or Zari Work?
When I received the blouse I was confused with the embroidery on the blouse. Was it a zari or zardosi work? Upon prodding, I could figure that it’s a perfect blend of both. The colour of zari is close to a well-worn antique, which I prefer over regular gold embroidery.
Cape Sleeves this Season
Cape sleeves are the flavour of the upcoming wedding season. Wearing a cape sleeve is like paradise. My outfit could not have been more comfortable than this. Loved the Matka silk top with cape sleeves.
I am sure a lot of you would be attending marriages of friends or families in the upcoming months. What are your preferences, likes and dislikes? I would love to read about those.
Don’t forget to shower your love through comments.
